2010 Ellis County Fair - President Loran Zimmerman

Who would have ever thought demolishing your grandfather’s combine could be so entertaining. Yes it was a “BIG” year at the Ellis County Fair last year and we look for it to be even bigger this year. Our line-up will be; 2 nights of URSS Sprint car races with local cover classes, 2 nights of exciting KPRA Rodeo, “Hold On “as the Missouri Tractor Pullers are coming to town to tear-up the track right in front of the grandstands, and yes, a bigger and even better Combine Demo Derby with expanded classes and then we end with another great night of Lion’s Club Demo Derby. As always, free nightly entertainment on the Midway, the Carnival and all of this entertainment for the same low price it always has been. Its exciting times at the Fair and we invite you and everyone you know to come out and join us. Also please come out and see the improvements at the Fairgrounds as we installed a fourth section to the south end of the grandstands and also another section to the west end of the Rodeo arena bleachers.
 
Thanks goes out to the Ellis County Fairboard, RPM Speedway, Midwest Deutshefest Assoc and all the many volunteers who make the Fair possible. We would also like to thank the Ellis County Commissioners and all of the Ellis County Employees who help us with the operation and maintenance of the Fair.
