2016 President's Invitation to the Ellis County Fair
Heroes in the Heartland! Join us at the fair July 16-23, 2016.
The 2016 Ellis County Fair is once again bringing you lots of 4-H activities and shows along with some great family-friendly entertainment. The 4-H kids have been busy all year working on their projects and can’t wait to exhibit and display them for you to see! I invite you to come out and tour the buildings or livestock barns to see what 4-H is all about, you won’t be disappointed.
Along with all the 4-H activities, we have lots of events for the whole family. There will be a magician, petting zoo, pig races, RC cars, laser tag, and the midway bands. We also have seven nights of entertainment lined up for one low cost of $20 per ticket or $60 for a family pass! That’s less than three dollars per event – where else can you go for entertainment that cheap?
That pass will get you into two nights of races, two nights of rodeo, a hot rod truck and tractor pull, concert, and the demo derby. We are especially excited to feature Little Texas and their song “Slow Ride Home” which was written in memory of Army Chief Warrant Officer 2 Bryan J. Nichols. Ricky Fugitt will open the show for Little Texas.
Be sure and thank all the sponsors and volunteers who have either donated money or time to the fair. Without their support it wouldn’t be possible! I also want to thank the Ellis County Commissioners along with all the Ellis County employees who help us throughout the year.
I look forward to seeing you at the 2016 Ellis County Fair!
